Phantom Blade Zero Weapons
How Many Weapons Are There?
The Steam store page says "more than 30 primary weapons and more than 20 unique Phantom Edges". The PlayStation Blog State of Play recap says more than 30 main weapons plus 25 Phantom Edges.
Director Soulframe told 4Gamer (via GamingBolt) that there are 30 main weapons and roughly 20 secondary weapons, all obtained from bosses. The counts differ slightly between sources, so treat "30+ and 20–25" as the confirmed range until the launched game can be counted.
Main Weapons, Phantom Edges and Weapon Swapping
Inven's preview explains the core loop: Sha-Chi powers attacks, blocks and dodges, and swapping between your two equipped weapons restores it instantly, so alternating weapons keeps a combo going. IGN's review describes the same mechanic as weapon swaps restoring posture.
IGN also mentions tools such as grappling hooks and bows alongside the blades. Community lists group the main weapons into one-handed, two-handed and dual-wield styles.
Upgrades, Accessories and Reforging
The PlayStation Blog confirms that weapons can be upgraded and paired with accessories, and that reforging a weapon returns materials so experimenting is not wasted.
IGN's review notes that upgrade points are easy to reallocate and that a skill tree and trinkets sit on top of the weapon system. Review coverage compiled by Output Lag adds that some accessories widen the parry window.
AFK Times reports weapon levels from 1 to 30 and a Reforging Talisman item; treat those as community-reported details until the in-game menus confirm them.

How S-GAME Balances Weapons
Soulframe told TheGamer that the team balances weapons with a lock-and-key approach — a shield is the lock, an axe that breaks it is the key — instead of chasing PvP-style parity. In practice that means switching weapons to answer an enemy type is part of the design.
Not Confirmed Yet
Damage values, scaling, move lists, frame data and where every weapon drops are not published by an official source yet. They are added here only once they can be verified in the launched game.
